POSITION SUMMARY:

Fills a variety of assignments within the Parks Department pertaining to readying, maintaining, and assisting with the Historic Properties public programs, including visitations, tours, events, and site rentals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Tinicum Barn – maintains interior in clean condition; previews the facility to prospective renters; attends site rentals as assigned.
  • Erwin-Stover House – maintains interior in clean condition; assists with collection care, including cleaning and exhibiting; maintains certain exterior features in presentable condition, including “landscape” plantings; assists with tours and special events as assigned.
  • Stover-Myers Mill – maintains interior in clean condition; assists with milling demonstrations as scheduled; assists with collection care, including exhibits; assists with tours and special events as assigned.
  • Moravian Pottery & Tile Works – maintains displayed collection in clean condition; assists with care of collection in general; attends to miscellaneous issues; assists with special events as assigned.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Available to flex schedule occasionally
  • Available for an average of 18 hours per week.
  • Ability to work on own, following directives received.
