Medication Drop Box Program

2017 Fall Drug Take Back October 28, 2017Got Drugs? Bucks County's Medication Disposal Program is supported by the Bucks County Commissioners and is made possible by a grant through the Bucks County Drug and Alcohol Commission, Inc. Partners in the program include the Bucks County Area Agency on Aging, Bucks County Children and Youth, Bucks County Detectives and Bucks Promise.

There are currently over 30 permanent boxes throughout the county. More information on the Permanent Drop Box Program can be found in the Medication Disposal Permanent Collection brochure, such as locations and reasons medicine should be disposed of properly.

Twice a year, The Medication Disposal Program holds a county wide Medication Take Back Day. The next event will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 between 10 am and 2 pm at several locations through the county. In April, 2017 the Take Back Day collected nearly 10,000 pounds of unwanted medication.
